The escape is on - Now!

On the run, on foot, and chased by a pissed off Bellick, the prison break gang are trying to keep from killing each other before they reach Abruzzi’s parked plane and take off for Mexico. Then Abruzzi pulls a gun and T-Bag, being the resourceful serial killer that he is, quickly snaps handcuffs around himself and Michael. No!!!!!!!!!

The President is going to shoot down Jack Bauer and a bunch of civilians on a plane. Oh hell no!

And here’s some good news: Secretary Heller survived his moonlight swan dive!

Ah, look, “24″ just totally pulled a “S.W.A.T” by landing that plane on the freeway! Heh heh, dumbass President Logan is in a world of shit now.

The escape is on! Oh hell yeah!

So what we have here is a full episode devoted to the gang trying to keep from killing each other just long enough to make it through Michael’s labyrinthe-like escape plan. It’s a tricky sucker, and of course completely unrealistic. But damn is it fun!

You may notice that I have the “Strange Luck” logo on top of the banner. It’s one of my favorite shows that never got any real chance, and starred the always excellent D.B. Sweeney as Chance Harper.

You know that very distinctive CTU phone ring on “24″? You know what I’m talking about if you know the show. It’s really cool, and I’ve never heard anything like it.

Well I was so enamored with it that I went looking for it, and I’ve found it. Here it is, in .wav format.

Okay, look, we all know Jessica Alba can’t act. I mean, she can act, but she can’t really act. She’s a nice girl and all, but let’s be real about this — that young body and high forehead (but especially that young body she isn’t shy about revealing) is what’s gotten her moving up the ranks of Hollywood’ starlets. And now here’s news that Jessica Alba will be hosting the MTV Movie Awards.

Jack Bauer is going to hijack a plane. No, I am not f’in you. He’s gonna hijack a f’in plane. Holy shite!

Everything else is filler material between Jack going through the small charter plane looking for Christopher Henderson’s bag man. He takes out the Air Marshal with a karate chop (Air Marshals have glass jaws!) and ends up in baggage with the wrong man where he’s subsequently trapped! Oops.

Almost out, but not quite!

So Michael Scofield has to move up the escape plan after Bellick locates the hole in the guard’s room thanks to the rat. How far “up” does the plan have to go? How about later that night!

Of course “that night” means next week’s episode, according to the previews.
