“Prison Break” (5/8/06) Review
Written by TV Guy on May 8th, 2006
The escape is on! Oh hell yeah!
So what we have here is a full episode devoted to the gang trying to keep from killing each other just long enough to make it through Michael’s labyrinthe-like escape plan. It’s a tricky sucker, and of course completely unrealistic. But damn is it fun!
The biggest draw isn’t even if the escape plan will work, but how long will it take Abruzzi and T-Bag to shank each other. Robert Knepper and Peter Stomare are friggin’ brilliant!

Is Westmoreland even gonna survive the escape, much less finally see his daughter again before she dies? And what’s the deal with Nick. Is he really gonna sell out Veronica? And here I thought they had a thing going. Guess not!
Plus, is Doctor Sarah going to come through? Will she chicken out? And will Michael really shank Pope if he has to?
Questions, questions, questions.
So I guess the producers weren’t lying when they said the first year of “Prison Break” would be about the escape, and the rest would be about, well, everything else.
But here’s a question: if the guys do manage to escape, can you still call the show “Prison Break”???
BIG SPOILER ALERT
Westmoreland IS D.B. Cooper!
